Brinkley Morgan Attorney Julia Wyda Reappointed to Palm Beach County Bar Association’s Board of Directors

Julia Wyda, a family law attorney with Brinkley Morgan, was recently reappointed to the board of directors of the Palm Beach County Bar Association (PBCBA) for the fifth consecutive year. Her induction took place at the PBCBA’s Annual Installation Banquet at The Breakers Hotel in Palm Beach on Sat., June 9, 2018.

The PBCBA was founded in 1922 to foster the growth and professional lives of its members. The PBCBA also aims to enhance the public’s understanding of the legal system and give back to the community through public service activities. Wyda has served on the PBCBA board of directors since 2013 and previously served as president of the Young Lawyers Section.

In addition to her involvement with the PBCBA, Wyda is an active member of the Family Law Section of the Florida Bar, serving as the Chair of the Publications Committee from 2015-2017, Co-Chair of the CLE Committee from 2011-2013, and as a member of the Executive Council for many years. She is also a member of the Broward County Matrimonial Lawyers, a Founding Member and Secretary of the South Palm Beach County Collaborative Law Group, the Palm Beach County Chapter of the Florida Association for Women Lawyers, and the South Palm Beach County Bar Association.

As a member of Brinkley Morgan’s Family Law Group, Wyda concentrates her practice in all areas of marital and family law, including dissolution of marriage, prenuptial and postnuptial agreements, paternity, and dependency.

Wyda is AV rated by Martindale-Hubbell and has received several other recognitions for her legal work, including The Florida Bar Family Law Section’s “Rising Star Award” in 2011 and 2012, and The Florida Bar Family Law Section’s “Above & Beyond Award” in 2013 and 2015.  She has also been recognized as a “Legal Elite Up & Comer” by Florida Trend magazine and has been repeatedly named a “Florida Rising Star” in family law by Super Lawyers magazine.

She received her Bachelor of Arts from the University of Miami in 2003 and her Juris Doctor from Washington and Lee University School of Law in 2006.
