QUENTIN E. MORGAN SPEAKS TO PLANTATION UNIT OF PARLIAMENTARIANS
Quentin E. Morgan, an associate with the Fort Lauderdale law firm of Brinkley, Morgan, Solomon, Tatum, Stanley & Lunny, LLP recently spoke to the Plantation Unit of Parliamentarians, a local unit of the National Association of Parliamentarians. Founded in 1930, the National Association of Parliamentarians is the largest non-profit organization of professional parliamentarians in the world. Mr. Morgan’s presentation was entitled “Parliamentary Procedure as used on Government Boards” and included a discussion of the objectives and principles of parliamentary law, proper procedures for making and amending motions, and the relationship between parliamentary law and federal, state and local laws.
Quentin E. Morgan received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science with honors from the University of Florida in 1997, and his Masters of Public Administration and Juris Doctor degrees from the University of Florida Levin College of Law in 2000. Mr. Morgan is Chairman of the Broward County Parks and Recreation Advisory Board and is admitted to practice before all Florida state courts and the United States District Court for the Middle District of Florida. He practices in the area of local government law with an emphasis in permitting, zoning, land use, subdivision law and code enforcement.
