Since 1971, Martin Haines has dedicated his career to guiding clients through complex and complicated family law court proceedings in Palm Beach County.  As a Florida Bar Board Certified specialist in Marital and Family Law, he concentrates his practice in the areas of adoption, alimony and spousal support, child support, children’s rights, children’s timesharing, divorce, domestic violence, dependency, juvenile law,  paternity, prenuptial agreements and postnuptial agreements.

Mr. Haines is a Fellow of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers, where he previously served as president of the Florida Chapter and as the Florida Chapter Delegate to the Board of Governors.  He has also served as president of the Family Law Section of the Florida Bar and as a member of the Executive Council of the Family Law Section of the Florida Bar.  He is a member of the American Bar Association, the International Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers, Academy of Florida Trial Lawyers and the American College of Matrimonial Lawyers.

Recognized for his expertise in the area of Family Law, Mr. Haines is AV Preeminent rated by Martindale-Hubbell and has been listed as a Florida Super Lawyer in the 2006-2017 editions of Super Lawyers magazine.  Additionally, he is ranked Tier 1 for family law in West Palm Beach in the 2017 edition of “Best Law Firms” by Best Lawyers and U.S. News & World Report.  He has authored numerous publications and lectured extensively on family law topics throughout the United States.
