Florida Bar Board Certified Specialist in City, County and Local Government Law
With nearly 30 years of experience, Donald J. Lunny, Jr. is a Florida Bar Board Certified Specialist in City, County and Local Government Law. As the head of Brinkley Morgan’s Local Government Law and Relations group, he represents public and private sector clients throughout Florida in the areas of land development, local government law, real estate, business and financial transactions, litigation, and wills, trusts and probate proceedings.
Mr. Lunny is a member of the Florida and Broward County Bar Associations, a member of the Ethics Task Force of the Broward League of Cities, and past president of the Florida Municipal Attorneys Association. He currently serves as Special Counsel to Covenant House Florida and as the City Attorney for the City of Plantation.
Additionally, Mr. Lunny frequently lectures at professional conferences and seminars on topics pertaining to government law. He is AV Preeminent® rated by Martindale-Hubbell and was named one of Florida’s “Legal Elite” by Florida Trend Magazine in 2012 and 2013.
Mr. Lunny earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from Vanderbilt University and his Juris Doctor from Stetson University College of Law.
