KEVIN P. CROSBY BECOMES BOARD CERTIFIED IN INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
Kevin P. Crosby, a Partner in the law firm of Brinkley, Morgan, Solomon, Tatum, Stanley & Lunny, LLP, was one of only eighty attorneys throughout the state of Florida to qualify for Board Certification in the area of Intellectual Property. Currently, there are only eight attorneys in Broward County who are Board Certified in Intellectual Property. According to the Florida Bar, Certification is the highest level of evaluation of competency and experience within an area of law. It identifies those attorneys who have special knowledge, skills and proficiency, as well as the character, ethics and reputation for professionalism, to be identified to the public as certified in a particular area.
Mr. Crosby earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering from Rutgers University in New Jersey in 1983 and received his Juris Doctor degree from Nova Southeastern University in 1986. He is the co-author of the Florida Law section of the International Trademark Association’s Treatise entitled “State Trademark and Unfair Competition Law.” He practices in the areas of intellectual property protection and litigation, concentrating in patent, trademark, copyright and computer/Internet law. Mr. Crosby is registered to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office. He is admitted to practice before all Florida state courts, the United States District Court for the Southern (including Trial Bar) and Middle Districts of Florida, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh and Federal Circuits. He is a member of the American Bar (Intellectual Property Section), The Florida Bar (Trial Lawyers Section), and the Broward County Bar Associations, the Association of Trial Lawyers of America, the International Trademark Association and the South Florida Intellectual Property Association.
