The free breakfast seminar will cover the role of accountants in the divorce process and legal issues that can financially affect clients. Topics include assessments, tax liens, innocent spouse and marital assets; revised LLC Act; interpretation of Kaaa. v. Kaaa and potential changes in law; and new legislation affecting family law, including the state of alimony in Florida.
The seminar is approved for three hours of continuing education credit by the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation (DBPR).
